If you like drinking smoothies but hate cleaning the blender than you need to get a personal blender. It's the bomb.
I make smoothies almost every day. After several monthes of hand washing them, I started putting the cups and blades in the dishwasher (no heat drying). On the rare occasion, I have used crushed ice, but not ice cubes; so, I cannot give a review about how well it crushes ice cubes. It still works just as well as it did the first time I used it. This little blender has made my life easier. They are still just fine.
The two blade attachment is great for use as a mini food processor. I have used this blender almost every day for about a year or longer. The instructions say not to put the cups in the dishwasher. I partially thaw frozen fruit and don't have to use ice, which would water down the smoothie.
The design is very good, it is easy to use, clean, etc. We purchased the Tribest 2 months ago and it is already groaning and grunting and cannot handle our daily usage (two smoothies / day). But the motor is very weak and cannot handle regular use.If you are a regular user, suggest you buy something more heavy duty.
I use it daily, it has a small footprint on the counter, and it blends what you need for one person in the serving cup. It cleans fast, unlike my Oster, and it is powerful considering its size. They are very convenient tumblers. I have an expensive and large Oster blender that I no longer use due to this Tribest blender. It is small. I also use the serving cups and lids even when I haven't used the blender.
